When you place an order, we collect: your name, phone number, delivery address (if applicable), order contents, and payment method selected. We do not collect or store Mobile Money PINs, card numbers, or other payment credentials — those are handled entirely by MTN, Airtel, or the relevant payment provider, never by Nevo's systems.
Your order details are shared only with: Nevo staff who prepare and fulfil orders, the delivery rider assigned to your order (name, phone, delivery address only, and only once payment is confirmed), and our technology providers (Supabase for data storage, Africa's Talking for SMS, Resend for email) strictly to operate the service. We do not sell your data.
Order data is stored with Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data may be processed on servers outside Uganda; we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled securely and in line with applicable data protection law.
We retain order records for as long as reasonably necessary for customer service, accounting, and legal/tax purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Under the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 (Uganda), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain uses. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
We use industry-standard access controls (including row-level security on our database) so that customer data is only visible to authenticated Nevo staff, never to other customers or the public.
